OregonMuse is a registered and trademarked LLC by the State of Oregon Corporation Division
My name is Eric T. Jones and I am an anthropologist with broad expertise in food and agroecology systems, biodiversity conservation, and community adaptability. I work in rural and urban settings, domestically and internationally. I have published journal articles, books, technical reports, extension briefs, training manuals, and more.
I've designed and lead many small and large projects, from short-term  ethnographic studies to large, multiyear interdisciplinary research programs, to applied, community-based, participatory collaborations. I have worked with government agencies, university professors, NGO scientists, practitioners, landowners, community groups, and more.
Focus Groups, Workshops & Conference Organizing
Over the years I've organized and facilitated focus groups, workshops, webinars, conferences, fieldschools, and tours.  I particularly enjoy small group, multiday approaches with 10 to 20 people.
Teaching & Curriculum Design
I teach classes for colleges and universities on a broad range of topics including food culture and justice, biodiversity and human groups, and community adaptability and problem-solving. I have written many curricula and training manuals and have proficiency in explaining complex concepts to broad audiences.
